When the thought is there, so is the opportunity! The time to act is now! The most potent part of reality is the NOW, the immediate where time and space and thought are unified.

If you’re like me you have big dreams and goals, but are often hampered by the biggest question when it comes to realizing your dreams: HOW? All you have to do is replace the H with an N and you go from HOW to NOW. Don’t live in the “how am I going to do X?” but in the “I’m going to do X now” because when the thought is there, so is the opportunity.

While it may not at first seem obvious, everything you need is right in front of you. Finding the solution to take you from your dreams to the realization of those dreams might take a bit of practice, but there are certain techniques you can use to practice.

People that dream big face the most daunting tasks in life; those that pursue less risky lines of thought will not have to travel as far. The less risky roads are shorter and wider, the bigger the dream the longer and narrower the road. So, if you have a big, shiny dream in your head then achieving it and making it a reality might seem like a bridge going through the fog. However, rest assured that the solution is right there in front of you like the solution to a puzzle that eludes you. No matter if your dreams are big or small, all of them are perfectly solvable.

When the thought is there, so is the opportunity. How to maximize this effect:

  1. Focus on that thought, but not too hard
  2. Get into solutions mode
  3. Take inspired action

1. Focus on that thought, but not too hard. Your original inspirational thoughts are baby thoughts, in their gestational period that need loving nurturing. Think on them too hard and you will be smothering them. Focus on them and let them grow, you don’t need to force them. Focusing too hard will make you aggravated and kill the positive vibe needed to sustain them. Your original inspirational thoughts are primal.

2. Get into solutions mode. While you focus on your dreams and what you would like to attract, get your mind into an analytical, solutions mode. Imagine yourself with a jumbled up rubik’s cube in your hand; now, what sort of mindset should you be in to solve this rubik’s cube? You should picture yourself solving this famous puzzle with dexterity and ease. When you focus on your goals, picture yourself solving it in the same way – let the solutions flow to you.

Having studied Economics, I often picture those economic equations I used to face and how I had to think through them at length in order to apply them towards a modeled solution.

3. Take inspired action. Learning to discard distracting thoughts, take inspired action when you receive it. For me, if I am setting a goal in something that I am already familiar, my inspired action will come in the form of a feeling that “I know what I have to do!” I will come fast and furious for me. If I am setting a goal in something that I am not familiar (new territory), then my inspired action will come externally. I will have a feeling of what I have to do but will have that thought ultimately validated from a friend or person that will hear me.
