Not an actual researcher, Vilius uses others for his research, but it is complete and affordable. His main business is arranging family meetings and family history tours. He will also arrange accommodations and other general tours. We used his services last year and will again next time we visit. He was incredibly helpful, flexible, and so easy to work with! I highly recommend him.

Vilius has done research for us twice now with remarkable results, tracing both lines of my husband’s paternal ancestry. He is patient and helpful–and will not take an assignment he does not believe he has reasonable faith will be successful. He is particularly helpful in offering advice and suggestions–no charge–to help you bring your family information forward to the point where he could take over. For example, he identified “Puny” on a relative’s ship manifest as “Punia” and provided information about the ancestor’s name (“Zigas”). For our Tamkus line he reached out to a Lithuanian working on his wife’s family to determine if there was any evidence supporting a connection between us. This was BEFORE he started our Tamkus research. Again, no charges.
The results come in tidy form: scans of all original documents, a report in Lithuanian, that report translated into English, and a willingness to answer questions about and clarify content in the report. His charges seem reasonable to me as well.
I would certainly feel confident in asking his help setting up housing or tours. So far (visits in 2012 and 2105) we have been fine on our own but one never knows.
He has our full confidence.
Vilius Vaseikis performed well and all-round profesional trying to track down any of my living ancestry in the Silaui district. He had ‘feet on the ground’ through his network as well working with official channels. Despite no actual surviving family was found I am confident that the multi-level research was second-to-none. I will recommend to anyone trying to find family. Yours sincerely Finn Lauszus
